As part of our group’s commitment to knowledge transfer and scientific outreach, our researchers Irene Leonés Baños and Miriam Gámiz Aguilera recently took part in an interview on the “Siempreviva Podcast”.
Irene’s contribution focused on a detailed and rigorous analysis of the relationship between the microbiota and women’s health, whilst Miriam’s centred on male infertility and its link to the seminal microbiota. The main aim of the talks was to bring the public up to speed on the latest scientific evidence in these fields, providing a practical, accessible and evidence-based perspective to counter the misinformation circulating online.
We would like to thank the podcast’s creators, Macarena Ríos Lorenzo and Isabel Puerta Vega, for their invitation and for their excellent work in promoting such much-needed and rigorous platforms for science communication.
